The training is part of the series of the same training for animal health frontline staff and veterinary students throughout Indonesia. For students, the training will be held in 16 batches for more than 400 veterinary students, with the first training was held for Gadjah Mada University in October. The training for students aims to introduce them to the fundamentals of disease investigations, preparing the next generation of the livestock sector with skills and knowledge in investigating and responding to animal disease outbreak. More than 700 students to date have already received the training, exceeding the initial target set.
